We design, develop, and install both off-grid and grid-tied AC power generation systems (ARCs) and distribution networks, becoming the heart of communities and enabling families and small businesses to thrive. We are just getting started and have recently signed a ground-breaking contract with the Government of Rwanda to expand their national grid with a target to connect at least 400,000 people to first-time energy in the next phase. About the Role As Technical Assistant you will lead, support and engage in various technical initiatives, with responsibilities rotating based on demands, while developing your own specialisations. You will report to the International Technical Group Lead and will be expected to interact directly with all levels of Arc Power’s people internationally and locally in Africa. The team’s areas of responsibility includes: Process design & management Knowledge Base development & management Technical training development and provision Training management systems Data analytics & reporting IT software & hardware management Internal software & systems design, development & management Second line internal support Data design, management & security Permission architecture & management Website Design, development & management External systems engagement & management - requirements to UaT Support and manage R&D activities internationally Support and drive innovation internationally Lead targeted continual improvement programmes Attend, support and present at international conferences About You You thrive on delivering high-quality technical work while expanding your skills. With some technical experience under your belt, you're eager to grow and tackle new challenges. A creative problem solver, you collaborate well with international teams, both remotely and on-site. You’re open to extensive travel, including time spent in Africa, and are passionate about using technology to drive positive change.
