The Arc is a unique service and there is an exciting opportunity to recruit to a Senior Support Worker.
The ARC is an evolving service that is supporting a variety of people, some who have reablement needs, are Covid positive, need a place of safety, or a place to recover after a hospital admission.
The ARC's CQC Registered Manager is dedicated to supporting the staff team to build a service that is person-centred, responsive, and an asset to Blackpool and the Fylde Coast.
The ARC works alongside health and social work colleagues to provide a holistic experience for the people who stay, usually for periods ranging from a few days to six weeks, occasionally longer.
The role of the Senior Support Worker is to lead and manage a team of RSWs, being a mentor, role model, and shift leader. Supporting the whole team with admissions, discharges, medication, audits, and staff development are just a few of the many tasks involved in the role.
You will receive a warm welcome at the ARC and work alongside a dedicated staff team who want what is best for the people who access the service.
For an informal discussion, please contact manager Lisa Coultas or Team Leader Samantha Dobson on 477855.
If you require any information on Care and Support recruitment opportunities, advice, or support on completing applications, please contact Provider Peer Support and Resilience Team on 01253 478444 or Email providersupporthub@blackpool.gov.uk
The successful applicant will be required to work outside of a 7am to 8pm Monday to Friday work pattern and will receive an additional payment on top of the quoted salary as a result.
