Job Title: UX/UI Designer
Salary: £47,500-£52,500 doe
Location Status: Hybrid working options available
Location: Victory House, Brighton or Angel Court, London
Fixed Term Contract: 12 months
Shift Pattern: 35 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
1. Understand business requirements and translate them into designs and journeys for the User Interface.
2. Create UX artefacts such as sketches, wireframes, customer journey maps, user flows, and interactive prototypes (use of Figma is essential).
3. Define the visual style and position relative to design guidelines.
4. Iterate designs based on feedback to produce production-ready products.
5. Manage the end-to-end design process from discovery to go live.
6. Ensure digital product journeys are on brand, compliant, accessible, and optimised for all screen sizes.
7. Create, update, and utilise in-house design systems.
8. Demonstrate understanding of market, technological, industry trends, accessibility, and user-centred design principles and user research methods.
What We’re Looking For
9. Proficient use of Figma and other design tools.
10. Good understanding of accessibility requirements.
11. An innovative and positive team player with a ‘can do’ attitude.
12. Ability to work in an agile environment with multidisciplinary teams.
13. Self-starter with the ability to effectively prioritise own workload based on project demands.
14. Proven track record of delivering UX/UI solutions that enhance business KPIs.
15. Comfortable and confident in managing stakeholder expectations.
16. Experience using a variety of user research methods.
17. Experience in a global environment is an advantage (agency and/or client side).
18. Excellent communication skills, including facilitation.
19. Portfolio of mobile and web design projects.
