Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic and welcoming team at a primary school in High Wycombe. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with a broad diversity of severe and moderate learning difficulties. You will be providing tailored support to help them achieve their full potential and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with a range of SEN needs.
* Assist with classroom management and contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Support students with personal care and daily routines, where necessary.
* Work closely with the class teacher to implement individualised learning plans.
* Foster social and emotional development, helping students build confidence and independence.
About You:
* Previous experience working with children, ideally in a SEN or educational setting (experience in SEN is not essential, but a desire to work in this area is important).
* A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
* A good understanding of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
* A willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.
