We are looking for an experienced Pensions Technical Analyst to join our vibrant Administration Service Group (ASG) team with hybrid working in our Middlesbrough office. This role would suit someone with previous experience in a similar pensions role, particularly in defined benefits schemes in the public sector.
The Role:
* Act as a focal point for technical queries, including compliance with scheme rules, industry regulations, and pensions legislation.
* Design and present training seminars and programmes to scheme members and pension administration staff as required.
* Produce office procedures documentation, training manuals, and other documentation as required.
* Attend various user groups as a representative of the company where required.
* Build and maintain good relationships with clients, including liaison with system suppliers and other relevant organisations.
* Contribute to local and national forums and debates to raise the profile of XPS Administration in the Public Sector.
Your Profile
Essential Criteria:
* Good standard of education.
* Successfully progressing CPC/APMI, or deemed ‘qualified by experience’.
* Direct, relevant experience of the Pensions Industry, particularly Defined Benefit (DB) schemes.
* Good interpersonal, written, and communication skills.
* Strong organisational, planning, and prioritisation skills.
* Desire to improve standards and develop new procedures and working practices.
* Ability to understand and comment on complex legislation.
* Solid awareness of scheme rules or regulations and how these impact on the business.
* Enthusiastic, positive, and flexible approach to work and a team player.
