Teamforce are seeking qualified and experienced PTS Engineering Supervisors to oversee upcoming engineering works in Canterbury, Kent.
The ideal candidates will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality standards in railway engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate engineering activities on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
* Lead and manage engineering teams, providing guidance and support to ensure effective project execution.
* Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure safe working practices.
* Liaise with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and project delivery.
* Monitor progress against project timelines and budgets, reporting any issues or delays to management.
* Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards, conducting regular inspections and audits.
* Maintain accurate documentation and records related to engineering activities and safety compliance.
Qualifications:
* Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification.
* Primary Sponsor or a valid D&A (Drug and Alcohol) test within the last 3 months.
* Engineering Supervisor (ES) competence certification.
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the rail engineering sector.
* Strong understanding of railway engineering standards, practices, and regulations.
