Teaching Personnel is seeking a qualified and passionate Biology or Environmental Science Teacher for a three-week full-time placement, starting on 17th March, at a high-achieving sixth form college in Brighton & Hove. The ideal candidate will have A-Level teaching experience in Environmental Science, but we are open to strong Biology specialists, as the department may be able to adjust timetables accordingly.
* Full-time teaching role for three weeks, covering A-Level Environmental Science and/or Biology.
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting students in developing their scientific knowledge and analytical skills.
* Covering key topics such as ecosystems, sustainability, climate change, genetics, and physiology.
* Encouraging independent research, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
* Supporting students with exam preparation and coursework assignments.

Minimum Requirements:
* Be a qualified Biology or Environmental Science Teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent).
* Have experience teaching A-Level Biology and/or Environmental Science.
* Be confident in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
* Have strong subject knowledge in environmental sustainability, climate science, genetics, and ecosystems.
* Be adaptable, organised, and passionate about teaching.
