My client is an automotive technology company and due to success they're looking to grow out their marketing team by adding a Head of eCommerce.
The Head of eCommerce, will be at the forefront of driving growth and shaping the future of our eCommerce platforms. This role requires passion, drive, and an entrepreneurial spirit to lead their current portfolio of UK websites and launch new international sites. You’ll be the linchpin between strategy and execution, ensuring a seamless customer experience while achieving ambitious growth targets.
Responsibilities:
* eCommerce Strategy & Growth: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to optimise and scale our eCommerce platforms across all brands and markets.
* Website Expansion: Oversee the launch of new EU trading websites, with potential for international markets.
* SEO & Content Management: Work closely with the in-house SEO team (to be expanded) and content creators to enhance organic performance.
* PPC & Social Advertising: Lead and optimise paid campaigns, ensuring maximum ROI.
* Customer Retention: Drive email marketing campaigns, implement abandoned cart strategies, and enhance customer retention through CRO (conversion rate optimisation).
* Customer Experience: Continuously improve the customer journey across all touchpoints to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
* Team Building: Manage and grow the existing team, including front-end design, technical SEO, PPC, and social media. Recruit new talent such as a blog/content writer and an in-house SEO specialist.

There main office is in Nottingham & they can offer a hybrid working environment, with only needing to go into the office once a week, well as a starting salary of £40,000 - £60,000, depending on background & experience.
