Salary: £14.00 - £15.50 per hour / £26,936 – £29,822 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 7.30am – 4pm & Friday 7.30am – 12.30pm

We are recruiting for Electro-Mechanical Assemblers on a permanent basis to join a leading manufacturer who design and manufacture products for the Avionics and Defence industry.
Working out of a purpose built modern, state of the art facilities you will be part of a hardworking, friendly and dedicated team working on the Assembly of new, prototype and serviceable high value products for various Avionics and Defence Solutions.
Within this role you will be working on small to medium sized units, undertaking the electro-mechanical assembly ensuring that you are working to work instructions.
Duties will include;
• Mechanical assembly
• Working to drawings or manufacturing instructions
• Using hand tools
• Using a computer to do basic product testing and recording results
• Running functional testing
Excellent attention to detail is paramount for this position.
The successful candidate will possess;
• Good level of Mechanical Assembly experience
• Ability to read and work from drawings and specifications
• Previous experience of working in an engineering / electro-mechanical environment
• Able to use voltmeters and undertaking functional tests
• Any soldering experience would be advantageous but not essential
