Centre Manager (20 hours a week)
Salary - £15,600 per annum
Braintree Youth Project Charity is looking to appoint a Centre Manager to manage the administration of the Youth Centre and Charity.
Purpose of Role:
To undertake the day to day running of BYPC and the Youth Centre; working with other staff, volunteers and the Board of Trustees. To support other members of staff, volunteers and the Board in their work for BYPC and fulfil the legal obligations of Company Secretary. To work with the Board of Trustees to develop and fulfil the strategic vision of the Charity.
The successful applicant will:
* Hold values in line with the Christian ethos of the charity.
* Be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people - including young people, their parents/carers, volunteers, church leaders, and other professional organisations.
* Be able to inspire and motivate other staff members and volunteers to ensure that BYPC is fulfilling its vision.
* Be an experienced administrator, adept at utilising Microsoft Office applications.
* Be comfortable with lone working: as a small charity, many of the hours in the office will be by yourself, or with another staff member.
* Have the ability to plan strategically and problem solve any issues which may arise.
