This role will facilitate in day-to-day processes, ensuring that all stock control KPI targets are met/exceeded as well as getting involved in continuous improvement. It will be your responsibility to ensure stock integrity and compliance are being delivered to the highest standard. In order to be successful in this role, you will be fully proficient in the understanding of stock control functions and processes as well as have the ability to deliver excellent customer service through the supervision of the team procedures. Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Salary:£32,000 per annum Key Duties of a Stock & Systems Supervisor include: Assisting the Inventory Stock & Systems Manager in the day-to-day running of the Stock and Admin department. Scheduling and supervising the activities and the functions of the Stock & Admin staff, ensuring proper and timely completion. Maintaining records of the Stock and Admin staff performance and personal files. Offering suggestions and assisting in the organisation of training and development for the team, including on-the-job coaching. Assisting management in controlling levels of planned and unplanned absence, taking appropriate action to ensure cover, and contributing to reductions of unacceptable levels. Maintaining high Health & Safety levels and ensuring full compliance. Processing stock reconciliation, resolving stock discrepancies and managing customer requests and stock amendments in a timely and accurate manner, whilst adhering to operational processes and procedures. Supervising and contributing to track & trace requests, product recall and quality assurance. Monitoring and scheduling daily, weekly and monthly stock count checks. Maintaining effective communication through various teams, including management, to ensure smooth flow of operations. Maintaining system configuration and assisting with visitor and stock audits. Attending monthly meetings with customers via video call and face to face. Providing feedback to the operations team on non-conformance of processes and looking at ways to improve operational processes. Qualifications Previous experience in a supervisory role and good knowledge of stock control is required. Ability to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, with an organised and focused approach to all administrative duties. Ability to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of on-site systems and processes. PC Literate on intermediate level (Word, Excel and Outlook). Strong interpersonal, conciliation skills and the capacity to network with suppliers and customers. Ability to efficiently lead a team, delegate, supervise functions and keep staff motivated. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent time management skills. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines. Working knowledge of warehouse management systems would be seen as an advantage.
