Transport Supervisor
Schedule: 5 Days per week with some flexibility

Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 per year
Role Overview:
The Transportation Supervisor oversees the scheduling, operation, and maintenance of all transportation systems and personnel. They are responsible for creating efficient routes, managing drivers, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. They also coordinate with other departments to ensure timely deliveries and cost-effective operations.
Your Purpose:
The purpose of a Transportation Supervisor is to oversee, coordinate, and manage the daily operations of a transportation department. This includes, but is not limited to, recruiting, training, and supervising staff; coordinating schedules; monitoring budgets; and overseeing the maintenance of equipment. The Transportation Supervisor is also responsible for ensuring that safety regulations are met and that the operation is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Duties:
1. Plan, organize, and supervise the daily transportation operations of a company or organization.
2. Develop and implement policies and procedures related to transportation activities.
3. Ensure compliance with government regulations regarding safety, personnel, and maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
4. Monitor and track employee work hours and ensure that vehicles and personnel are properly scheduled.
5. Develop and manage transportation budgets and records.
6. Supervise and train drivers, dispatchers, and other personnel.
7. Investigate and resolve customer complaints and technical issues.
8. Maintain records of maintenance and repair activities.
