Sales Engineer (Pre-sales, Technical) - Software Solution - UK/Remote/HybridDay rate: £400 - £600 (inside IR35)Duration: 6 months Start: Now My client is looking for a Sales Engineer to join on contract basis fully remote. Supporting the sales team with technical pre-sales enablement, onboarding and support, to deliver a fantastic experience to our clients as we scale our accounting offerings. Required technical skills: Minimum 2 years of experience in a pre-sales engineering, solutions consulting, or technical sales role. Proven expertise in engaging enterprise customers, presenting technical solutions, and driving sales processes. Strong technical acumen, with a solid understanding of SaaS, APIs, cloud computing (AWS, Azure), and financial/accounting technologies. A strong understanding API tools and technologies: swagger, rest API, graphQL, postman, openAPI, etc. Capacity to create technical assets to improve the efficiency of the team and of integrations teams (postman collections, automation scripts, web tools, etc.) Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value for non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively across sales, business development, product, and engineering teams to drive a seamless customer experience. Self-motivated and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles. Highly professional individual with strong interpersonal skills and a customer focus Willingness to travel as needed to support customer engagements and industry events. Additional expertise Experience working with enterprise software, particularly in the fintech, accounting, or financial services sectors. Proficiency in tools such as CRM software, project management tools, and documentation platforms. Rates depend on experience and client requirements
