Key responsibilities for the Maintenance Engineer: Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities in order to facilitate the move from breakdown to planned maintenance on site Participating in the construction, installation and commissioning of new plant/machinery, upgrades, and projects Utilising internal systems to log all activities and parts required from the stores department Undergoing internal and external training (where required) on plant equipment, engineering tools and repair techniques to ensure plant/machinery is maintained to the highest standard Skills and experience required: A recognised Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification (apprenticeship, HNC, HND or similar) with experience working as a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical OR Electrical OR Multi-Skilled) within a manufacturing business Ideally will be Electrically biased with 18th Edition Previous experience maintaining various factory equipment, machinery, and plant (conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, PLC controlled machinery etc.) Working hours: 3 Shifts Earlies: Monday to Friday – 6AM to 2PM Lates: Monday to Friday – 2PM to 10PM Nights: Monday to Friday – 10PM to 6AM What’s on offer to the Maintenance Engineer?
