What you'll do:
As a Senior RTR Accountant, your primary responsibility will be to lead, manage, and develop the RTR Intercompany accounting team. You will ensure the delivery of best practice core accounting processes and governance while driving automation and efficiency. Your role will involve managing fusion intercompany accounting activities, ensuring month ends and year ends are timely and accurate. You will also play a key role in testing ERP regular SaaS releases and other system developments. A significant part of your role will be to foster a culture of digital transformation and continuous improvement within the team.
* Manage and deliver timely and accurate fusion intercompany accounting activities
* Ensure that fusion intercompany accounting processes are consistent, fully documented, compliant, efficient and automated
* Actively involve in testing ERP regular SaaS releases and other system developments
* Embed a digital mindset and continuous improvement as a way of working
* Collaborate with other managers in RTR and across Finance Operations to resolve discrepancies and identify errors
* Oversee/support the training and professional development of team members
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Senior RTR Accountant position is a qualified who has people and process management experience. You would have had previous intercompany accounting experience and proficiency in using accounting software, preferably Oracle Fusion ERP. Your strong communication skills enable you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. You bring excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to the table, making you adept at identifying discrepancies and resolving issues.
* Qualified accountant (ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA) with some post qualification experience
* Experience working in a management role within an RTR team within a transactional service centre
* Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
