If you are passionate about fostering relationships, driving growth, and leading successful bids, we want to hear from you!\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nAs the Bid Manager, you will be at the heart of our client's growth strategy, ensuring effective communication between the organisation and its clients.
You'll play a pivotal role in generating project leads that align with the company's workload and growth targets. Your responsibilities will include:\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nStrategic Alignment: Review the business plan and identify new markets and opportunities that resonate with the directors' vision.\nTarget Setting: Hold weekly marketing meetings with the MD and Director to agree on client targeting strategies.\nClient Tracking: Maintain an up-to-date client tracker detailing all contacts, actions, and notes for future project opportunities.\nClient Engagement: Meet clients to gather insights that will assist in securing projects and programming future pipeline opportunities.\nProject Communication: Ensure seamless communication with key clients from project inception to completion, providing valuable feedback on completed projects for continual improvement.\nCross-Department Liaison: Collaborate with Heads of Departments (HODs) and the estimating team to align project targets with operational needs.\nTender Assistance: Support the estimating team in producing high-quality tender deliverables such as presentations, organograms, project methodologies, and sustainability questionnaires.\nCase Study Management: Regularly review and update current case studies to reflect the organisation's achievements.\nMarket Research: Assess marketing software and target frameworks, completing expressions of interest and OJEC notices.\nMarketing Support: Provide technical information for marketing materials, including case studies, CVs, and social media content.\nSustainability Goals: Assist in the organisation's commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2030.\nPQQ Support: Collaborate with directors and the office manager to complete Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs).\nCost Planning: Help the estimating department produce high-level cost plans and detailed cost information from recent projects.\nSafety Compliance: Understand and ensure adherence to the organisation's Safety, Health, and Environmental (SH&E) plans.SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:\n\nMS Office Skills essential\nA proactive communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.\nDetail-oriented, with a knack for strategic thinking.\nExperienced in bid management and client engagement.\nKnowledgeable in sustainability practises and project management.\nIdeally a research degree or equivalentOffice Angels acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
