Job Overview:
We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Business Development Executive to help us expand our clientele and drive sustainable growth within our printing strand, Kaizen Print. In this role, you will identify new business opportunities, nurture client relationships, and collaborate closely with internal teams to advance our company’s objectives. Your efforts will directly contribute to our success and innovation in the printing sector. The ideal candidate will have previous print sales experience, excellent communication skills, a proven sales track record, and the ability to thrive both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify business growth opportunities for Kaizen Print.
* Collaborate with our senior management team to develop strategies for acquiring new clients aligned with company goals.
* Serve as the main point of contact for your new client accounts.
* Work closely with our team of account managers to foster client relationships and ensure that jobs are delivered to specification and on time upon acquiring new clients.
* Collaborate with our client services, marketing, and production teams to align your new business sales plans.
* Attend events to promote Kaizen Print and expand your professional network.
* Achieve monthly new business sales targets.
* Stay commercially aware and up to date on industry trends.
* Track and report on sales performance, pipeline metrics, and lead conversion rates, ensuring accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions.
Essential Criteria:
* Experience: 2+ years of proven experience in a business development role
* Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to high levels of customer service. Must be a team player.
* Environment: Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced printing environment.
* Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Driving Licence: A valid, clean driving licence is essential for travel to client locations throughout Ireland.
Desired Skills:
* Familiarity with tender software and experience in writing and submitting print tenders is a plus.
* Previous print industry experience within a sales or marketing role is desirable.
