We are growing rapidly and are looking for an Operations Assistant to support our internal operations, ensuring the smooth running of our business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with circa 2-years’ experience in, or a graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in, business operations, finance, marketing, social media and other operational activities within a fast-growing consultancy.
Role Overview
As an Operations Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our day-to-day business operations, working closely with the leadership team. Your responsibilities will span administration, finance support, HR coordination, office management, social media, marketing and others.
Key Responsibilities
Business Operations & Administration
* Manage correspondence, scheduling, and general office tasks.
* Maintain accurate records, documentation, and internal databases.
* Assist in streamlining internal processes to improve efficiency.
Finance & Procurement Support
* Assist with invoicing, expenses, and financial reporting.
* Coordinate supplier and contractor payments, ensuring timely processing.
HR & People Operations
* Support recruitment processes, from job postings to candidate coordination.
* Maintain employee records and assist with onboarding new team members.
* Help coordinate training, development, and engagement initiatives.
Project & Operations Coordination
* Track internal projects and deadlines, ensuring smooth delivery of key activities.
* Support the leadership team with reporting, data entry, and document preparation.
* Liaise with external partners, suppliers, and clients as required.
Social Media & Marketing
* Assist in managing PACT Solutions’ social media presence (LinkedIn, and other platforms).
* Monitor social media performance and suggest improvements.
* Support in the creation of marketing materials, including blog posts, newsletters, and website updates.
* Assist with event planning and coordination for industry conferences and client engagements.
What we are Looking for
We’re seeking a highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented individual who can juggle multiple tasks and contribute to a fast-paced, growing business.
* Degree-level qualification (Business, Marketing, Communications, Management, HR, Finance, or related field preferred).
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
* A problem-solver with a proactive and can-do attitude.
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
* Familiarity with social media platforms, especially LinkedIn.
* Expertise in Xero would be brilliant.
* Interest in higher education, technology, business operations, and marketing is beneficial.
Working Arrangements
The role will be on a Hybrid basis with the majority of work in the first few months on a fully remote basis. The exact working arrangements will be discussed with successful applicants.
