We are thriving and are now looking for an Accounts Manager to support all areas of the business, streamline and manage our accounts processes and build a strong foundation for future growth.
Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive, organised and diligent Accounts Manager.
As the Accounts Manager for SignWow, you will be instrumental in planning and embedding robust management accounting systems and processes across all aspects of the business. This remote role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere whilst building the accounts operations, with the potential to grow into a leadership position as the business expands. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounts professional to build this business area from the ground up, taking full autonomy and responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for all aspects of the businesses’ accounting needs.
* Raise sales invoices, payment reconciliations and manage credit control.
* Process supplier invoices and payment and issue remittance advice.
* Manage the day-to-day financial operations within the business, such as payroll, expenses, invoices and other transactions.
* Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures.
* Maintain fixed asset registers and calculate depreciation charge.
* Provide support in the forecasting, budgeting and business planning processes.
* Present financial reports to senior managers, external accountants and partners as required.
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in managing all aspects of accounts in a small – medium sized business.
* Commercial and business awareness.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* The ability to build and maintain effective, efficient and future proof processes and procedures.
* The ability to work as part of a team and build strong working relationships
* The potential and desire to lead and motivate others as the team and business grows
* Preferred but not required:
* Knowledge or experience with Deaf culture and British Sign Language (BSL).
* Previous experience working with Deaf people or in accessibility-related services.
