Job Opportunity: KS2 Teacher (Maternity Cover)
We are working closely with a Primary School in the BS35 area of South Gloucestershire, seeking a KS2 Teacher to cover Maternity Leave from Term 5.
The school is a 1 form entry village primary school dedicated to providing a supportive and progressive education. The school, parents, and community are actively involved in pupils’ learning, with a focus on preparing students for future challenges in education, work, and life.
The Role
Starting from Term 5, you will join as a Year 5 teacher on a maternity cover basis.
Your responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum, incorporating inclusive approaches to enable all children to reach their potential. The Head Teacher values flexibility, initiative, and creativity in planning and daily KS2 activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Possess strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
* Differentiate lessons effectively to ensure accessibility for all students.
* Create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
* Experience working with children from diverse ability backgrounds.
* Experience with SEND practices.
* Provide a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for pupils.
