We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Principal Business Improvement Manager to join our Ministry of Justice (MoJ) account. This role will involve travel across the North West, Yorkshire and Humberside and the North East.
The salary is negotiable, with a company car included in the package.
At Amey, we’re supporting our justice client, His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) by providing them with safe, clean and efficient prisons. By using our facilities management expertise, we help keep 60 secure premises across England and Wales running smoothly.
Reporting into Stephen Reed, Account Director, MOJ-North of England, the Principal Business Improvement Manager plays a crucial role in driving business improvements by utilizing data analysis and action planning to enhance processes and value stream mapping.
The standard hours of work are 37.5, Monday to Friday.

You will be responsible for:
* Developing and supporting improvement projects and programmes aligned with the overall business strategy.
* Managing and leading projects aimed at enhancing business performance.
* Increasing the number of people with skills and capabilities to deliver change through training and secondment.
* Promoting a culture of continuous improvement through engagement with business leaders and staff.
* Supporting the prioritisation of improvement efforts by developing, reviewing, and analysing KPIs and other management information.
* Monitoring and reporting on the progress of improvement initiatives.
* Facilitating and enabling communities of practice to identify and share improvement opportunities.
* Providing training and support to staff on new processes and procedures.
What makes this role unique is it involves collaboration with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of improvement plans. Prison Security Clearance will be required (Amey will support you through this process).
We want to hear from you if you have:
* Proven experience in stakeholder management and project management.
* Strong facilitation skills for working with groups and managers.
* Experience in process and value stream mapping improvements.
* Evidence of data analysis or data analytic work.
* Experience with improvement models, including root cause problem solving.
* Degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
