Are you an enthusiastic and passionate teacher ready to inspire the youngest learners in our school community? Our primary school is seeking a dedicated and creative Reception Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team starting in January 2025.
About the Role: As a Reception Teacher, you will play a crucial role in nurturing the foundation of our pupils' educational journey. You’ll be part of a collaborative and dynamic team that values creativity, wellbeing, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
2. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn.
3. Support the individual learning needs of each child through differentiated teaching and personalized learning plans.
4. Encourage social, emotional, and academic development through play-based learning and child-led activities.
5. Work collaboratively with parents and carers to ensure effective communication and involvement in their child’s learning journey.
6. Assess and monitor children's progress, providing feedback to parents and colleagues.
We are looking for someone who:
1. Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience or a passion for working in Early Years.
2. Demonstrates a deep understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum.
3. Is committed to fostering a positive, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children.
4. Has strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents.
5. Is enthusiastic, creative, and ready to bring new ideas to enhance our Early Years provision.
What We Offer:
1. A supportive and collaborative school community.
2. Continuous professional development opportunities.
3. A well-resourced learning environment.
4. Competitive salary based on experience.
5. Opportunities for career progression within the school.
How to Apply: If you are passionate about early childhood education and are ready to inspire and guide our Reception pupils, we would love to hear from you!
