Our client is a highly reputable refurbishment and fit-out contractor, achieving consistent growth over the past five years. With a leadership team boasting over 125 years of combined industry experience, they are now looking for a Contracts Manager to strengthen their operations team and help drive their continued success.
Their project portfolio includes values ranging from £1m-£5m, primarily located in and around Central London, across sectors such as:

Key Responsibilities – Contracts Manager
Project Oversight
* Oversee multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery to the highest standards.
* Establish and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for project stakeholders.
* Ensure all projects meet contractual obligations, quality benchmarks, and client expectations.
* Coordinate project schedules, ensuring proper resource allocation and adherence to timelines.
Team Leadership
* Lead project teams, providing clear direction and support to Project Managers, Site Managers, and other team members.
* Conduct performance reviews and mentor team members to promote career development.
* Foster a collaborative, solution-oriented work environment.
Commercial & Financial Management
* Manage budgets for multiple projects, including cost forecasting, monitoring, and reporting.
* Oversee subcontractor agreements and performance, ensuring value for money.
* Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Health & Safety
* Implement and uphold robust Health & Safety procedures across all sites.
* Conduct regular safety audits, addressing issues promptly to maintain compliance with regulations.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager within the commercial refurbishment and fit-out sector.
* Strong understanding of construction contracts, legal requirements, and commercial principles.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Excellent financial acumen and experience with budget management and reporting.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering excellence.
