As a leading accommodation provider, Fresh is excited to be recruiting for two part-time Maintenance Technicians for the 816-bed student accommodation scheme, Metalworks based in Bedminster.

About the role:
This role offers flexible working hours, totaling 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on a rota basis. There is an opportunity to discuss the details further during the interview. Site operational hours are between 8am and 8pm.
You will be working as part of a close-knit team, undertaking minor reactive repairs and carrying out planned maintenance works which includes painting and decorating, health and safety checks, grounds maintenance, gardening, and refuse & recycling management. You will also need to be competent with minor electrical maintenance as you will be responsible for the installation of white goods, carrying out visual PAT testing, changing plugs and fuses, emergency lighting checks, and replacing lamps and light ballasts.
As we work in our residents' living spaces, you will need to be a good communicator who always demonstrates professionalism and can ensure discretion and diplomacy when needed, including maintaining confidentiality regarding recording sensitive information.
About you:
We are looking for an outgoing person who has strong communication skills and is confident in their ability to undertake general maintenance works, both planned and reactive, and can adapt to different situations whilst maintaining professionalism.
