The TV Retention Manager will be responsible for tracking, communicating and supporting decisions around Sky's weekly TV Churn performance. They will need to be strong collaborators with the Product Teams, Routes to Market, Customer Service group and finance to ensure the Sky leadership team makes informed and timely decisions. What You'll Do You'll be responsible for forecasting subscriber and product growth for a specific business area, focused on TV Retention. You'll need to refine your methods to reflect new forecasting challenges as our business and the wider market evolves. You'll be expected to deliver performance analysis and data-led insights on our current performance, supporting & challenging our commercial colleagues to identify gaps and opportunities vs our plans and suggesting improvements You'll need to be proactive in identifying potential risks and opportunities and be able to communicate the impact of changes on our delivery against targets You'll continuously review, improve and automate our reporting suite, including both Excel and Tableau based dashboards - creating even more time and space to focus on analysis You'll engage extensively across functions including Finance, Marketing, Operations, Commercial, Analytics, and with our Sky Europe counterparts, developing relationships while using existing knowledge & resources in the Trading Performance team What you'll bring: Brilliant collaborator able to work across a matrix organisation with the product owners, Trading teams, Customer Service group and finance to ensure the Sky leadership team makes informed and timely decisions. Highly numerate and analytical combined with excellent communication skills to present findings in written, PowerPoint, spreadsheet and verbal format to senior stakeholders. Experienced in fast paced work environments with large & complex data, delivering quick decision making that is commercial. Sectors might include but are not limited to, telecoms, Media, Pharmaceuticals, FMCG. Solid understanding of key financial performance indicators and how these are to be used when making decisions and recommendations. Self-starter able to identify trends, issues and challenges - a real get up and go attitude to tackle issues head on and who responds positively to change and/or ambiguity. Comfortable with data - able to work with large/complex data sets in excel; perform trend analysis and be confident in drawing conclusions, insights and making recommendations Problem Solver with very strong analytical skills with the ability to comfortably work with incomplete information Credible and able to present work up to the Trading Lead and Head of Trading Performance, with excellent presentation skills (written and verbal) Tireless and results driven mentality, able to continually critique and optimise performance with a Positive mind-set End to End understanding - able to work across silos to ensure we have a clear view of what is happening in the business across all areas within Trading The rewards: About There's a reason people can't stop talking about.
