Company Information Our client is a well-known distributor of chemical elemental analysis equipment globally looking to onboard a Account Manager to support their growth in the South UK. Role Overview In this role your mainly responsible for covering the South UK selling instrumentation such as PH meters, TOC systems and elemental analysers to customers within Pharma/biotech, chemical sectors. Responsibilities Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve targets and expand market share across the South UK region. Proactively identify potential clients in the pharma, biotech, and chemical industries to expand the customer base. Showcase and explain the benefits of analytical equipment, including pH meters, TOC systems, and elemental analysers Establish long-term partnerships with clients by understanding their requirements and delivering exceptional customer service. Stay informed about industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to inform sales strategies. Person specification Experience in sales/business development within the chemistry (ideal) Lab background/ Technical Support in chemistry will also be considered Degree Level Qualification (BSc) in a Chemistry or related science Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal Exceptional eye for detail, time management & interpersonal skills Package Salary dependant on experience Bonus around £6,000 per annum Mobile, Laptop Company car &Fuel card Healthcare scheme Death in service 22 days holiday bank Christmas and New year - don't open between the two - use holiday allowance
