Role: Outreach Tutor
Salary: £150-£220 per day (Salary dependent on experience)
Location: Barking and Dagenham, London
Start Date: ASAP
GSL Education London is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths and English Outreach Tutor for one of its client schools in Barking and Dagenham. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on students' academic progress and personal development.
Academic Requirements:
* A degree in Maths, English, or a related field.
* Teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) preferred.
* Experience in tutoring or teaching Maths and English at various levels.
Job Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Maths and English to small groups of students.
* Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
* Develop tailored learning plans to meet individual student needs.
* Collaborate with school staff to identify students requiring additional support.
* Monitor and report on students' attendance, progress, and performance.
* Encourage and motivate students to achieve their academic goals.
* Participate in training and professional development activities as required.
Required Documents:
* Right to Work in the UK: All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
* Enhanced Child Barred List DBS Certificate: A valid enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service is required. Alternatively, candidates must be willing to process a new application through us.
* Professional Child-Related References: Two professional references related to work with children are necessary.
