Senior Pharmacy Technician - Medicines Management Band 5 (6 month fixed term contract)
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Croydon Health Services (CHS) for a forward thinking, enthusiastic and motivated Senior Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician ( 6 month fixed term contract) to join our already established Medicines Management Team.
This is an opportunity to test yourself in a busy and challenging area with the support of a strong and enthusiastic team dedicated to providing excellent care for all.
The successful applicant must possess good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills. You will be supporting our patient focused pharmacy service, liaising with colleagues in both primary and secondary care settings and promoting new and innovative ways of working to achieve better outcomes for patients and reducing recurring long term admissions.
As well as being an integral member of the main pharmacy, you will also be an integral team member of the Satellite pharmacy team, contributing to an already extremely valued discharge service.
You will also be required to provide a Lead role or where necessary supervisory role during each rotation and assist in the continuous training and development of junior staff.
This role will also give you the opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team where you can provide support for service development through projects, audits and providing education and training sessions to members of staff including hospital and community nurses on safe administration of medicines.
Candidates must be registered with the GPhC.
