Readypower Rail Services is a growing rail plant hire company looking for motivated Apprentice Fitters to support our operations. Opportunities are available on a full time basis at our Nottingham Depot. Opportunities are available immediately, with college enrolment starting in September.
The role:
1. Develop competence in the maintenance and repair of construction plant, tools and ancillary equipment
2. Work towards the relevant NVQ qualification, whilst acquiring new skills in the workplace through on the job training
3. Learn to repair and modify mechanical plant and equipment and ensure compliance with relevant standards
4. Work effectively as a member of the plant team
5. Provide support to yard and stores staff as required
Requirements:
1. Minimum GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent in Maths
