Join our Power Commercial team as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, where you’ll take on complex, meaningful work that is critical to our business, becoming a key player in some of the biggest infrastructure projects in the industry.

Our project sites include: South East (Uckfield / East Sussex), South West (Oxfordshire), and Derbyshire / Yorkshire.

Project areas: Power T&D Substations, Cabling, and Overhead Lines

What you'll be doing
* Manage costs in relation to infrastructure projects with experience of identifying commercial risks and opportunities in respect of their works
* Deliver varied commercial duties including responsibility for procuring and managing supply chain
* Optimise commercial performance through diligent cost control and value for money opportunities, whilst achieving the required standards and quality for our customers
* Create and maintain commercial relationships to both internal and external stakeholders
* Contract administration with both client and subcontractors
* Provide support and adherence for the Gated Business Lifecycle process
* Mentor and develop junior members of the team
* Proactively drive career and personal development, including professional certification
* Commercial management of a large infrastructure project or a portfolio of smaller projects
Who we're looking for
You will have the following qualities/experience:
* BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or experience equivalent
* Membership of RICS, ICES or CIOB (or working towards)
* Experience with key contracts such as NEC
* Good communication skills
