Baby Room Lead Location: North Bristol, BS34 Salary: TBC - dependent on qualifications and experience Contract: Full time 40 hours per week We’re looking for an experienced Early Years Practitioner qualified at Level 3 or above to take on the role as Leader in the baby room at one of our North Bristol nurseries. As the Baby Room Lead, you will be responsible for creating a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment for babies and young children, ensuring their development and well-being are prioritised every step of the way. The nursery offer play-led learning in a space that prioritises a nurturing environment as children take their first steps towards school. Key Responsibilities: Lead and inspire a team of childcare practitioners, ensuring high standards of care and education. Plan, implement, and review engaging activities tailored to babies’ developmental milestones. Promote positive relationships with parents, providing regular updates and feedback on their child’s progress. Ensure all safety, hygiene, and safeguarding procedures are strictly followed. Act as a role model for the team, promoting professional development and growth. Ideal Candidate: Holds a relevant childcare qualification (Level 3 or above). Proven experience working with babies and young children in a nursery or early years setting. Strong leadership and communication skills. Passionate about providing high-quality care and fostering children’s development. Knowledge of EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework and safeguarding procedures. Why work with us?
