Job Description
Key responsibilities include:
* Develop and maintain effective supply and demand plans for assigned categories
* Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure product availability
* Analyse supply chain metrics and implement improvements
* Lead cross-functional projects to improve supply chain efficiency
* Manage inventory levels to meet customer demand and minimise waste
* Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to align demand forecasts
* Resolve supply chain issues promptly and effectively
* Maintain accurate data in the company's planning systems
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate would have:
* Proven experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* Proficiency in supply chain planning software
* Knowledge of inventory management practices and procedures
* A customer-focused approach and a drive for results
