We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and compassionate Pastoral Support Worker to join one of our primary schools in Blackburn. In this role, you'll be at the heart of helping students who face challenges, building strong relationships and creating an environment where they can thrive. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored advice and structured interventions to empower students to make positive choices regarding their behaviour, attendance, and social interactions (with full support for structuring and resourcing these interventions).
- Collaborate with teaching staff and colleagues to share effective strategies for supporting students.
- Build strong connections with parents, staff, and external agencies to ensure holistic support for every student.
- Strengthen the school-family partnership to enhance educational opportunities and foster a positive attitude toward learning.
- Act as a dedicated keyworker for assigned students, tracking their progress, attending meetings, and reporting concerns to the SENCo and Head of Year.
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to safeguarding protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
