The Regional Disability Team offers a range of services for people with long term neurological disability from the age of 16 years onwards and Community Multiple Sclerosis Team offers specialised community and outpatient rehabilitation for people with MS also offering support to families at any stage following diagnosis. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication, customer service and organisational skills, as well as a working knowledge of office procedures including IT skills. Main duties of the job The main duties of the role will be: Communicating at all levels, with high volumes of telephone calls from service users, external professionals and carers/relatives Accurately updating patient details within RiO (the Trust's patient information system) Formatting documents Scanning and uploading Dealing with correspondence Assisting with ad hoc requests Experience of Microsoft Office and working within an administrative environment are essential to the post. Knowledge of RiO is desirable. The post holder will also undertake additional duties such as ordering supplies, requesting repairs and updating rotas and duty sheets and cover reception/other departments on the site where necessary.
