Temporary Customer Services Adviser/Admin

Pay Rate: £12.18 per hour PAYE
Hours per week: 37 Monday - Friday, 8.30am to 5pm
Role Length: This opening assignment is for 3 - 6 months
City: Bournemouth, Dorset
We have 2 positions to fill. One of which will be available for a period of 6 months to cover maternity leave and the other we intend to make permanent after a period of 12-15 weeks.
Hybrid working
This is a telephone role where the successful candidates will be taking calls about Housing, Planning, Building Control, Seafront, Parks, Bins, and General Enquiries.
Qualifications:
1. 5 GCSE’s C+ including English and Maths.
Skills & Experience:
1. Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, ideally within a public sector organisation.
2. Excellent communication skills, including oral, written, presentational, and listening.
3. Able to handle difficult situations.
4. Accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when working to tight deadlines.
5. Sound knowledge of customer service/customer focus principles based on practical experience.
6. Demonstrable experience in creative problem solving.
7. Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g., G Suite).
