Job Overview
Gleeson Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced IT Support Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will work closely with the IT Help Desk team, providing excellent customer service and technical support to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide first-line technical support to employees, resolving issues and escalating complex problems to senior technicians.
* Manage customer expectations and communications, including face-to-face engagement, phone, and email.
* Record and track project issues, escalating to project teams and external IT support companies as necessary.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in an IT Help Desk or Service Desk environment.
* Excellent customer service skills and a strong appreciation for IT support.
* Technical skills in Active Directory, Office 365/Azure, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Office applications.
Working Arrangements:
The IT Support Officer will work a hybrid model, with 3 days in the office (Newark-On-Trent) and 2 days working from home.
