A rapidly growing manufacturing and productionpany based on the outskirts of Middlesbrough, due to expansion, is looking for an experienced accounts assistant to join a friendly and weing finance team.
Your new role
The role will be an initial 9-month Fixed Term Contract, The main responsibility of the role is the entry and reconciliation of routine accounting transactions daily:
1. Entry of bank transactions
2. Daily bank reconciliations
3. Allocation of customer receipts
4. Involvement in credit control
5. Maintaining sales ledger
6. Entry of Purchase Invoices
7. Maintaining purchase ledger
8. Reconciliation of supplier statements
9. Prepare supplier payments.
10. Intepany balance reconciliations
11. Petty cash control and analysis
What you'll need to succeed
Requirements and skills
12. Significant experience in volume entry of transactions into accounting systems using multiple currencies.
13. Understanding of the implications of transactions throughout the Finance system
14. Methodical, thorough, and accurate approach
15. Good time management
16. Excellentmunication skills
17. Experienced in using MS Excel
18. Working knowledge of SAP or Sage
