Position Overview
The Project Management Assistant has a key role in the EMEA DTC Project Team, working with the Digital Project Managers to deliver DTC tech change projects, managing day to day administration tasks and supporting in all elements of the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will be working with the Global Product and Platform team to communicate, facilitate and monitor the delivery of high-quality consumer experiences for the EMEA & LATAM region. These projects help the business to drive conversion, encourage retention, raise brand perception, and ultimately support business growth and positioning objectives.
This role requires some eCommerce platform understanding, strong administrative skills, clear stakeholder engagement and organization, and excellent cross-functional communication and partnership.
The role will report to Sr. Project Manager Digital Commerce for EMEA.
Responsibilities
* Supporting the Project Managers on the delivery of projects through the lifecycle from start to finish.
* Capturing and circulating notes, actions and next steps during requirements, implementation, testing and delivery stages.
* Diary management to schedule follow-up sessions with Stakeholders and project team in a timely manner.
* Creating and upkeeping the Weekly Status Reports to ensure clear regular updates go out to the project team and Key Stakeholders throughout all elements of a project.
* Helping the project team collate key information and elements during requirements, i.e., site walking through the site to identify key parts of a Customer Journey and areas of improvement to be updated as part of the project.
* Following up with the project team on completion of actions and any support needed to complete them.
* Presenting on behalf of Project Managers when required.
* Supporting, when extra resources are required, on UAT cycles and Post Go Live checks.
* Ad hoc administrative tasks to support project team and delivery.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
* Knowledge of Agile Project Management Methodologies preferred but not essential.
* Minimum of 1 strategic cycle in Ecommerce project environment.
* Understanding of a technical change process from idea intake through to dev, QA, UAT, release and post-release bug resolution.
* Understanding of User Acceptance Testing and sprints.
* Ability to self-organize multiple tasks and to complete them on time with a clear focus on quantitative results.
* High level of intellectual curiosity and can successfully operate in ambiguity.
* Strong analytical, prioritization and negotiating skills.
* Passionate about building great products and solving customer and business problems.
* Understanding of full end-to-end digital consumer journeys and supporting systems and processes.
* Knowledge of one or more of Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Order Management Systems, is a plus but not essential.
* Knowledge of project tools, i.e., Jira, Confluence, Monday.com, desirable but not essential.
