More about our School
Our SEN School for ages 3 – 19, caters for students with a diagnosis of Autism. Many of our students have moderate learning difficulties and therefore we operate an EYFS or primary model, where class groups are taught the majority of their lessons with a named class teacher from Reception up to Year 9.
Once students reach Y10, a tutor group model is introduced and children are taught by a range of specialist teachers to work towards their qualifications.
Recently graded as a ‘Good’ school by Ofsted in 2023, our Teachers work hard to create a, ‘calm and caring atmosphere where pupils feel safe and confident to be themselves and develop their unique personalities’ and because of this, ‘pupils’ behaviour in lessons is impeccable’.
Our bright and airy school building comes with lots of outdoor space and a sensory garden, sensory rooms, food technology room and a fitness suite!
If this sounds like a school that you would like to be a part of, apply today!
We are dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. You will have a safeguarding responsibility if appointed in this Primary SEN Teacher role.
The successful Primary SEN Teacher will be subject to enhanced clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service and employment will be subject to references.
