We are seeking Cover Supervisors to join our team and support local schools in the South Shropshire area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in teaching or for experienced professionals seeking flexible work in education.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering pre-set lessons and maintaining classroom discipline in the absence of the regular teacher.
* Ensuring a positive learning environment is maintained for all students.
* Managing behaviour in line with school policies and expectations.
* Supporting students with their learning and offering guidance where needed.
* Liaising with teaching staff and reporting on student progress and behaviour.
Requirements:
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage a classroom and engage students effectively.
* Experience working with young people in any capacity is beneficial but not essential.
* A desire to make a positive impact on students’ education.
* A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
* Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent (degree level preferred but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
