About The Role
We have locations in St Johns, St Peters, and Lower Wick supporting young adults with learning disabilities to achieve personal goals and live fulfilling lives in their community and own homes. The individuals we support enjoy outings, activities, and social engagements, and seek a support team that is caring, dynamic, and friendly.
As a Flexi-Bank Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, enabling care, facing new challenges daily and playing a vital role in our mission to excel in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Implement person-centered support plans, promote independence, manage risks, encourage relationships, and ensure legal and best practice compliance.
2. Develop flexible, engaging activity plans that promote autonomy and personal growth.
3. Support individuals in maintaining healthy lifestyles and managing health needs.
4. Facilitate effective communication and maintain detailed, person-centered records.
5. Oversee medication processes and support individuals in self-administration.
6. Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to health and safety protocols.
