Vacancy: Project Administrator
Salary: Up to £30,000
Location: Mirfield
Our client is currently looking to hire an experienced Project Administrator to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a family-run business that has thrived over the last 30 years and continues to expand.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure project files and records are organised and accessible to all team members and wider stakeholders and sub-contractors, where necessary.
2. Scheduling appointments and meetings.
3. Minute taking.
4. Dissemination of project-related information to clients and team and recording of the same.
5. Updating trackers and project reports as necessary.
6. Help to maintain and utilise project management tools and systems, such as project management software, SharePoint, CDE platforms, etc.
7. Assisting the SHEQ and PM with the preparation and distribution of Health and Safety documentation including Construction Phase Plans, logistics plans, and H&S files and record on SharePoint.
8. Collating and preparing documentation for the O&M manual and handover.
9. The collation of product data sheets and specifications/certs.
10. Maintain and store all project documentation including that produced on site.
11. Preparing and updating action trackers as directed by the Senior Project Coordinator.
12. Preparation of project reports.
13. Supporting the project teams in general project management tasks as required.
14. Dealing with suppliers and requesting quotes.
15. Work with the sales team in the preparation of bids and bid writing.
16. Producing and updating case studies for marketing material.
Ideal Candidate:
1. Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in construction.
2. Ability to carry out general administration tasks to high standards with limited or no supervision.
3. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to communicate effectively both internally and with wider stakeholders.
4. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, managing own workload effectively.
5. Team player, can-do attitude, offer solutions.
6. Proficiency with Excel, Microsoft, SharePoint, and ability to learn new software as required.
7. Attention to detail.
