We are looking for an Agent to join our Infrastructure team in Clifton, Penrith and Cumbria.
What you'll do:
* Management and co-ordination of construction team including subcontractors to ensure that the works are delivered in accordance with the project performance, programme and budget. Lead the team to ensure they are supported and resources are adequately allocated to the works.
* Recruit, manage, supervise, train and mentor the site team to enable them to optimise their work contribution.
* Review contractual agreements and develop construction design input, working methods, programme and forecast costs with the construction team and Subcontractors / Suppliers identifying any inaccuracies or inconsistencies, and feedback any changes made to the QA and QS teams.
* Develop programmes and forecast budgets, assess actual programme and productivity achieved and review daily and weekly, taking action where appropriate, and reporting any changes to the construction manager and QS department.
* Develop project specific subcontract scope and conditions, be fully conversant with subcontractors contract conditions, and manage the subcontractors account with the QS team
What you'll bring to the role:
* Experience of construction of Civil engineering projects within a rail.
* Experience of Leading and Managing construction teams. Leadership experience by assigning clear accountabilities and authority.
* A collaborative attitude across internal teams and external teams. A collaborative approach with the ability to communicate with a number of key stakeholders at various levels.
* Degree level qualification (or equivalent) in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HND in Civil Engineering and vocational training in Engineering
* Experience Civil Engineering structures
