Job summary The Suffolk Crisis Response and Home Treatment Team (CRHTT) based in East Suffolk, predominantly at Ipswich Hospital, Woodlands Unit is seeking to recruit a Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the team. The Crisis Response and Home Treatment Team areproactive and highly skilled at managing risk and supporting service users in East Suffolk who are presenting in crisis. Main duties of the job The role of the Clinical Nurse Specialist is to provide specialist clinical interventions to our service users, their families and loved ones. It also involves delivery of leadership activities within the team. If appointed, you will: Deliver clinical interventions. Work as a non-medical prescriber. Offer support, supervision and informal training to your colleagues. Contribute to multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meetings. Undertake other clinical tasks within the team. Deputise for the Community Team Manager on occasion. You will have a nursing qualification, be trained as a non-medical prescriber, and will have developed your skills through extensive experience in mental health.
