Nursery Nurse, Band 3 - Little Apples Nursery

We are seeking a Level 3 Full and Relevant qualified Nursery Nurse for our Little Apples Nursery in Cheltenham. This position requires candidates who have a passion for working with children and are available to work shifts between 7am and 6pm.

Main Duties of the Job
1. Meeting the diverse needs of children aged 3 months to 5 years.
2. Managing time effectively to complete additional duties such as planning and completing developmental records.
3. Meeting the needs of parents/guardians while acting professionally, compassionately, and consistently in day-to-day and sensitive situations.
4. Ensuring that the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage and all other regulatory bodies are met at all times.
5. Adhering to nursery policies.
6. Promoting good working practices and maintaining a high regard for the delivery of quality, flexible childcare.
7. Providing a safe, hygienic, caring, and stimulating environment for children and parents, promoting positive play experiences.
8. Working as part of a team and supporting/guiding Nursery Assistants and Students to help them reach their maximum potential.
9. Actively promoting diversity in childcare provision and ensuring a culturally sensitive environment.
10. Being a key holder and, when required, opening or closing the nursery.
11. Administering prescribed medication or children's paracetamol in the absence of the management team.
