About the role: x2 Quantity Surveyors (North of England)
Based in the North of England, you'll take on the role of a Quantity Surveyor. You'll be responsible for managing the commercial & financial aspects of construction contracts. You'll be looking after procurement, invoicing & payments with the aim to keep cost down & value optimised.
Responsibilities:
· Managing construction projects from start to finish.
· Evaluating tenders, including their pricing & measurement.
· Managing project costs, managing project targets & ensuring they're met.
· Liasing with subcontractors & suppliers, both to develop contracts & ensure their completion.
· Preparing detailed cost estimates.
· Tracking project & labour work in progress, identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements:
· At least 3 years' experience in a similar role.
· Qualified to HNC level (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying. RICS would be desirable.
· Experienced working with design & build contracts, schedules of rates, bill of quants etc.
· Experience liaising with subcontractors & suppliers to ensure partnerships & the building of strong relationships.
· Great time management, organisational & interpersonal skills.

· Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE)
