Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a qualified teacher of Drama and Performing Arts looking for a new role for September 2024 in Manchester?
Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an enthusiastic Drama teacher to join a large secondary academy in Manchester. This is a full-time temporary supply teaching role from September 2024 to July 2025.
The Role
Teacher of Drama and Performing Arts.
* Five days a week.
* Teaching key stage 3 Drama and BTEC Performing Arts.
* Characteristics of performance texts and their social, cultural and historical context.
* The roles and responsibilities of theatre makers in contemporary professional practice.
* Drama and theatre terminology and how to use it appropriately.
* The ability to teach other subjects such as English or Music to Key stage 3 would be beneficial.
The academy are interested in hearing from Early Career Teachers, experienced QTS practitioners and further education specialists with experience of teaching drama or performing arts to students aged 11 to 16.

* Hold QTS Status or QTLS or equivalent Further education qualifications such as PGCE14+ or Certificate of Education.
* This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks.
