Readypower Rail Services is a growing rail plant hire company looking for motivated Apprentice Fitters to support our operations. Opportunities are available on a full-time basis at our Caldicot Depot. Opportunities are available immediately, with college enrolment starting in September.
The role:
1. Develop competence in the maintenance and repair of construction plant, tools and ancillary equipment
2. Work towards the relevant NVQ qualification, whilst acquiring new skills in the workplace through on-the-job training
3. Learn to repair and modify mechanical plant and equipment and ensure compliance with relevant standards
4. Work effectively as a member of the plant team
5. Provide support to yard and stores staff as required
Requirements:
1. Minimum GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent in Maths
