Base Location: Basildon
Salary: £21.67 per hour.

Key duties and responsibilities
Be the onsite focal liaison point between Costa facilities team, contractors, and site staff Support progression of Health & Safety compliance by participating in audits, risk management, training / development, and reporting Support and drive improvements in sustainability compliance Implement and monitor minor FM works. Manage (with guidance from the Facilities Manager) the building's plant and equipment. Maintaining accurate records of all compliance and contract monitoring for audit and compliance needs. Take responsibility for building management systems Produce utilisation and other reports for the FM to improve effective use of resources Assist with the setting and controlling of budgets, monitoring spend on tracking systems & raise purchase orders for works in a timely manner. Assist with recruitment and training of staff for the facilities function. To provide administrative support to the Facilities team Coordinate all contractor management and KPI reporting. Progress resolutions of Health & Safety issues. To provide an out of hours emergency response and to manage and support works that are outside core site hours
Essential skill set/experience
Ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision Good communication and administrative skills Ability to prioritise workload while maintain a flexible approach to work Flexibility with working hours as required Should possess good understanding of site systems and processes. Hold a CIOB or level 4 site maintenance qualification or possess detailed working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems. Has proven experience of driving quality improvement and management of contractors to maintain control and minimise costs Has skills of monitoring Health & Safety compliance including audits, risk management and reporting Has awareness of Sustainability compliance Has clear understanding of skills required to develop asset lists of building's, plant, and equipment- Can monitor a 10 year plan maintenance and an suggest capex needs for annual plans Good interpersonal skills, capable of communicating at all levels Effective PC skills - proficient in Microsoft Word, MS Project, Excel Proven skills, knowledge, and experience to solve day to day issues that occur on a production environment Can read and understand construction drawings Can be flexible with working hours to deliver projects outside of site production programs Has a good working knowledge of TREND 963 operating software and alarms To be the first point of contact and can respond to out of hours emergency calls outs and site cover where works are on site
