Opportunity to engage in diverse PR and social media projects. Collaborative and dynamic work environment. The Role As a PR Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our PR strategy and communications. Assist the Head of PR in expanding our PR strategy aligned with business development. Generate compelling news stories and PR hooks. Build and maintain excellent relationships with journalists. Research media outlets and recommend pitches. Draft and distribute press releases and briefings for key media. Track media coverage and develop reports. Maintain and develop media lists. Attend meetings with teams and partners. Upload content to our website and promote PR on social media. Support podcast recording and promotion. Handle general admin tasks and team support as needed. The Candidate We are looking for a PR Assistant who embodies creativity and proactivity. 12-18 months of PR experience, ideally in professional services. Excellent grasp of PR and communications concepts. Understanding of social media and a keen interest in current news. Excellent communication and writing skills. Organised and deadline-oriented. Creative thinker with attention to detail. Self-assured in liaising with senior teams. CIM qualifications or interest in pursuing them is a plus. Initiative-motivated and able to work independently. Team player with a professional manner. Flexible, committed, and willing to travel within the UK.
